Liontown Resources is an emerging Tier 1 Battery Minerals producer.

What We Do

We aim to find, develop and supply battery minerals required by the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage industries.

We currently control two major lithium deposits in Western Australia and aim to expand our portfolio through exploration, partnerships and acquisitions. In addition, we look to participate in downstream value-adding where control of the deposit provides a strong competitive advantage.

Kathleen Valley

The cornerstone of our Company is our project at Kathleen Valley in Western Australia. This is one of the world’s largest and highest-grade hard rock lithium deposits and is expected to supply ~500,000 tonnes of 6% lithium oxide concentrate per year when it comes on stream in 2024, with an initial mine life of ~23 years.

The Kathleen Valley deposit will also produce Tantalum Pentoxide, a valuable material used in electronics and optics manufacturing.

We have an additional major lithium deposit at Buldania, located south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The Mineralised system has been defined over a 1.4km strike and remains open at depth. Our drilling program has confirmed a resource of 15 million tonnes of 1.0% lithium oxide, with more than 60% of the Mineral Resource Estimate classified as indicated.
