By 2030, an estimated 145 million Electric Vehicles will have taken to the road, a key step in the transition to a Low Carbon Future. We aim to find, develop and produce the battery minerals that will power these Electric Vehicles.

Key Projects

Kathleen Valley

Our project at Kathleen Valley, in Western Australia, will be one of the world’s largest lithium mines, supplying ~500,000 tonnes of 6% lithium oxide (Li2O) concentrate per year when it comes on stream in 2024.

Final Investment Decision (FID) approval was given by the Board in June 2022 following the execution of binding offtake agreements with Tesla, Ford and LG Energy Solution and the signing of a $300m Finance Facility with Ford.

Buldania is a highly prospective lithium project located south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Our active drilling program at Buldania has confirmed a mineral resource estimate of 15 million tonnes of 1.0% Lithium oxide (Li2O).

Sustainability guides everything we do. It defines the minerals we search for, how those resources are developed, what technologies we apply in our operations and which organisations we partner with.

The minerals we produce are key to the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage industries. But we must develop these in a way that minimises our environmental footprint and in line with broader societal expectations. Our systems for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) lays out how we do this.

Battery materials are the key to a Low Carbon Future. Come and be part of the Liontown team as we find and develop the resources the world needs. You will be part of a strong, creative and ambitious team who will support you and challenge you to be your best.
